The Spring Star Ball is an American and International style ballroom dance championship sanctioned by the World Dance Council and the Canadian Dance and Dancesport Council, (W.D.C. and C.D.D.S.C.)
It not only qualifies as a world
ranking competition but has been awarded the status of the "Ontario Provincial Open championships".
The Spring Star Ball was founded by David FitzGerald and Mary Adams in 2006. "We wanted to create something very unique and different
from what we see in Ontario today.
Hosting this event at the beautiful St. John Halls in Mississauga has given us the professional venue that we were looking for such an event;
Hosting the official WDC Provincial Championships will attract the high calibre of amatuers that we are looking for.
Adding in world class adjudication elevates it to the professional level that is required. All of these elements together
creates a world class event that is equal to no other and something that we can truly be proud of."
